The Ship & Shovell provides a number of private hire options, from the Crow’s Nest function room on the first floor of the south side of the pub, through to the ability to book the entire south side of the venue, as well as an option to book the whole pub on Sundays only. Minimum spends do apply and are subject to the time of day or day of week, so please speak to a member of our team to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Our cosy and traditional self-contained private room is ideal for small celebrations, parties and get togethers and can host up to 25 guests for drinks and your choice of buffet food.

Why not combine the Crow’s Nest with the downstairs pub and bar area of the south side of our venue for parties and celebrations of up to 60 guests, including drinks and your choice of buffet food
ENTIRE PUB (Sundays Only) Drinks Capacity : 150 - Dining Capacity : 150
As we aren’t open to the public on Sundays, this provides an excellent opportunity for you to book your own pub for the day. Let us host your informal special occasion for up to 150 guests and let them explore both sides of the pub, as they mingle and have fun, whilst enjoying drinks and your choice of buffet food
